Welcome to St. Dominic Catholic School! We are a Catholic school offering a quality education to children in pre-school through fifth grade. Our school is operated under the auspices of St. Dominic Catholic Church and the Diocese of Knoxville. It is approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education, accredited by North Central Association (NCA-CASI).
St. Dominic Catholic School first opened its doors in 1945, in the heart of Kingsport, Tennessee.
High academic standards, a Christian atmosphere, and a community of devoted faculty, staff, parents, and students form the basis of our program. St. Dominic Catholic School follows the policies of the Diocese of Knoxville; therefore, any change in Diocesan policy takes precedence over school policies. The most current policy/regulation will always be on file in our school office. The school also reserves the right to interpret rules and policies as individual situations and needs arise.
