                                LIBRARIAN:  MR. HARRY ARNOLD

Mr. Arnold was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years after which time he retired at the rank of Captain in 1992. While in the service, Mr. Arnold earned an Associate’s Degree in Radar Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in Electrical Engineering. After his military service, he substitute taught elementary aged students before going on to teaching secondary education math and science in the Clark County School system in Las Vegas, Nevada for 11 years. He has been selected for the” Who’s Who of Teaching” five different times. After teaching, Mr. Arnold worked in a highly classified job for the U.S. government.  Mr. Arnold is now semi-retired and has been living in the Tri-City area for just over three years.  He enjoys fishing and playing golf but his first love is singing in an all men's chorus here in Kingsport, TN known as the Appalachian Express.
