Pre-School - Pre-K - The Superstars Class

Picture
Welcome to Mrs. Cindy's Superstars.  My name is Mrs. Cindy Estes;  Mrs. Shirley Hutchins and I will be your teachers.  We look forward to working with you & your parents here at St. Dominic School.

Our pre-school program has the children learn by doing.   Our Pre-K classroom will provide numerous opportunities for children to manipulate, explore, initiate and just play around to find out how things work.  We will use songs, stories, file folder games, board games, learning centers, and much more to engage children in learning experiences.  Most importantly, we introduce the children to reading with our popular Pre-K reading program from Houghton-Mifflin.  The results have been exceptional!

Special activities throughout the year will include:
  • field trip to the fire station
  • making and taking gifts to nursing home residents
  • performing our annual Thanksgiving program for the school
  • participation in Catholic Schools week
  • raising money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital with Trike-a-thon
  • end of the year field
